Ricardo Melendez is a One Man Show

“You must have a point of view when you go on stage.” Through The Workshop Theatre Group, a company of theatre professionals committed to the creative process, Ricardo channels Nijinsky with immediacy in “Nijinsky’s Last Dance,” a one-man, hour and a half drama that has garnered success and two Critic’s Choice commendations. Initially a fundraiser for the performance space, the show is the first local production to play at The American Theatre in Hampton; then on to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland; and recently at the Dublin Theater Festival. “I started in theater in Puerto Rico with a degree in dance and a Masters in the theater. As an actor, I’m still a mover and as a dancer, I’m always an actor.”
